EGF Parking Ticket Program Results in Food Shelf Donations

The EGF Parking/Snow Emergency Program allows people who receive a parking ticket for one of those violations to pay their "fine" with a donation to the EGF Food Shelf. So far this year 965 pounds of food has been donated.

This program is in its second year and has to purposes which are to help remind residents of the winter parking regulations in EGF while collecting food donations for the food shelf which helps many local residents. 8th Annual Code 3 for Christmas - Donations accepted at the EGF Fire and Police Depts

The EGF Police & Fire Departments are collecting new, unwrapped gifts for kids 16 years old and younger. Donations may be dropped off at the EGF Police Station at 520 Demers Ave or at the Fire Station at 415 4th St NW.

All gifts will be distributed to children in the EGF community.  Gifts will be distributed on December 16th from 8am-2pm at the EGF Campbell Library.  Please bring proof of EGF residency.

Information on Coordinating the Passage of Agricultural Equiment across the Kennedy Bridge

MNDOT will be trying to coordinate the passage of agricultural equipment across the Kennedy Bridge when possible. Those crossings can only take place from 4-6am and must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
