The Economic Development Authority is a multi-faceted community development agency for the City of East Grand Forks.  The City has always been very active and involved with projects that assist business and industry which shapes our community. Under the leadership of the Economic Development Authority Board, the Mayor, and City Council, this office continues that mission.

Business Loan Program for Restaurants Announced

The Economic Development Authority has opened a COVID emergency loan program for restaurants affected by the Executive Orders issued by Governor Walz.  The program will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2020.  The loans will be 1%, 5-year loans, with no payments or interest for the first 6 months.  A restaurant can borrow up to $20,000.   Please contact Paul Gorte at 218/773-8939 or pgorte@egf.mn for information about the program.
